EFAPCO Membership


5 – MEMBERS’ RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS

Members must comply with the EFAPCO Code of Conduct and quality standards which define the rights and obligations of a company working in the field of MI


MEMBERS’ RIGHTS

• Full Members and Direct Associate Members are entitled to display the EFAPCO logo on your letterheads, promotional materials and websites. Experience has shown that clients give preference to professionals that belong to Associations and Federations

• The name of your company / organization or institution, if you are a Full Member, Associate Direct Member and /or Supporting Member) will be listed in the EAPCO website and information can be linked to your own website. This will give members a significant international exposure

• You have a voice at EFAPCO. Exercise your right to vote and take an active part within the organisation. Voice your opinion and help improve standards within the European Meetings Industry.

• Be heard at institutional level

• Gain access to networking opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences

• Co-operate with all European tourism stakeholders

• Be continually updated on the industry’s latest news, information materials, research data and statistics.

• Participate at exhibitions and trade fairs where EFAPCO is represented


MEMBERS’ OBLIGATIONS

• Promote EFAPCO within the European Union

• Actively participate in and contribute to EFAPCO initiatives and activities

• Pay the annual membership fees promptly

• Attend the EFAPCO General Assembly and participate in its activities

• Strive continually to improve professional standards and strictly comply with the EFAPCO Code of Practice and Quality Standards

• Deal professionally and fairly with clients, suppliers, congress delegates, fellow members and the public

• Do not engage in any practice or conduct detrimental to the reputation and interests of the EFAPCO or Professional Congress Organisers

• Provide the Secretariat with all the membership criteria documentation and all other documentation required promptly and in accordance with the Statutes and Conditions of Membership

• Participate in research and educational projects to help develop EFAPCO’s aims and objectives
